The Challenge

My clients had just moved into their new home and loved its bones — but the all-white, modern look didn’t reflect their personal style. They craved warmth, character, and a cozy atmosphere that felt more “them.” They also had a few beautiful existing pieces they wanted to incorporate into the redesign, blending their ideas and tastes into one cohesive space.

Our Approach

We started with lots of mood boards to help the couple visualize how their existing items could blend with new elements. I also used drawings and creative cut-and-paste renderings to bring the vision to life early on. Our main design goal? Bring in natural textures and rich, moody tones that would warm up the space and celebrate the fireplace as the room’s star feature. Custom timber paneling, a deep paint tone, and carefully layered styling brought the perfect balance of modern and organic charm.
We’re absolutely in love with how our home feels now. What was once a blank, all-white space is now warm, inviting and completely us. The way our existing pieces were worked into the design made everything feel intentional and personal. From the mood boards to the final styling, every step felt collaborative and thoughtful. We couldn't be happier with the result.

The Transformation

The difference is undeniable — what was once a cool, neutral space is now rich, layered, and full of personality. The rooms now feel connected, with shared elements tying them together beautifully. The fireplace feature wall has become a true focal point — warm, welcoming, and reflective of both clients’ styles.
